Semester 1 Blog Post Assignments
Here is list of journal assignments for Semester 1. The purpose of the journal entries is to spark discussion in class and lead you to a deeper understanding of the material discussed in class. Journal entries will be posted on your blog.
Journal entries should be at least 300 words and adequately address the question. A grade will be given based on the following criteria:
1. Does the entry adequately address the question? (Either Criteria A or C)
2. Is the the entry understandable, using proper grammar, word choice, and spelling? (Criteria D)
3. Are the entries properly organized, using thesis statements, paragraphs, and topic sentences (Criteria B)
4. Is the entry completed on time?

1. Who Are You? What influences your identity?
Due Date: Sunday, September 16
1. Go to photovisi.com. Create a collage of all the things that influence your identity. Your picture should be in the middle. There should be at least 8 pictures in your collage. Export the collage to .jpg and put it at the top of your blog post.
2. Write your "Where I'm from" poem below.
3. At the bottom, write 400 words that describe your collage and discuss your poem. The post should answer the question above.
